"Big problem for Chelsea." Romeo Lavia's latest scan update.
Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia has provided a fresh injury update following minor knock picked up against Arsenal.
The Belgian is slowly becoming an integral part of Enzo Maresca's midfield setup. He featured in the Blues' draw against Arsenal but was however forced off in the closing stages of the game.
Fernandez replaced Lavia at Stamford Bridge and duly provided the assist for Pedro Neto, though it remains to be seen if that will be enough to force the Argentina star back into the starting lineup.
Lavia is part of the Belgian squad called up for Nations League games against Italy and Israel this month and, speaking to RTL Info, suggested the knock he sustained against Arsenal was not particularly serious.
"I received a little blow, at the moment, we are testing to see if it is okay, but it should be fine, I think,” he said.
Results from Lavia's test would determine if he would feature for Belgium in their coming games.
