CONFIRMED: Chelsea most likely opponents in the Quarter-finals | Date, time and all you need to know about the Conference League playoffs.

 Chelsea have booked their place in the Quarter-finals of the Conference League after finishing top of the group, winning six out of all their six matches. 

Chelsea played their final group stage game of the competition with a 5-1 win against Shamrock Rovers.  Marc Guiu bagged a hat-trick,  while goals from Cucurella and Kiernan Dewsbury Hall sealed the Blues' victory.  

Here's all you need to know about Chelsea's likely opponents in the Quarter-finals:

When is the draw?

The draw for the round of 16, as well as the quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place on February 20. This is the day after the knockout phase play-offs which Chelsea have avoided thanks to securing a place in the top eight.

While the top eight sides in the league phase qualify automatically for the round of 16, the teams finishing in ninth to 24th place kick off the knockout stages. They compete in a two-legged knockout phase play-off to secure their path to the last 16.

Who will Chelsea face? 

This is pretty unclear at the moment but Chelsea will play a team that has finished outside the top eight but progresses in the knockout phases. Four teams have been identified. Chelsea could face KAA Gent or FC Copenhagen and Real Betis or Heidenheim.

Which teams are in the Conference League knockout phase play-off draw?

The teams that finished between ninth and 24th in the inaugural league phase will compete in a two-legged knockout phase play-off to secure their path to the last 16 of the competition.
