"They will cost you. Don't rely on them." Mikel Obi warns Enzo Maresca after two Chelsea stars cost Chelsea three points against Everton.

 

Chelsea Legend has voiced his displeasure over the performance of two Chelsea stars following their performance against Everton on Sunday.  

Chelsea were held to a goalless draw at the Goodison park.  The Blues missed the chance to go top of the table and Chelsea Legend Mikel  Obi has called out two players he thinks cost Chelsea three points in the game. Obi thinks both players are not good enough.

Enzo Maresca is cautioned by John Mikel Obi to sign a clinical striker in January after he attacks Nicolas Jackson.

“Even if we are playing well, you need a complete striker who can produce every week if you want to win the league or place in the top four.Jackson had the opportunity to give Chelsea the three points, but he was unable to complete the finish.

“Jackson is making an effort, but he needs to score more goals and be more clinical in front of the goal. I’m not sure yet about Nicolas Jackson. Chelsea needs to buy a clinical striker in January if we want to contend for the league or place in the top four, With a striker like him, I don’t think we’ll win the league or place in the top four." He said as quoted by Chelsea247.

Sanchez managed to keep a Cleansheet in the game vs The Toffees.. Earlier in November,  Mikel Obi reiterated that Robert Sanchez is not good enough for Chelsea in the title race. 

“[Robert] Sanchez does have a couple of performances here and there, but if we are to win the Premier League or to finish in the top four, I think we need a better top goalkeeper,” he told his Obi One Podcast.

“A goalkeeper who’s steady, calm and reliable.”

The Reds face Tottenham Hotspur in London, as they look to continue their unbeaten record away from home.
