Nicolas Jackson Breaks Silence after Cole Palmer's furious reaction vs Fluminense sparks Chelsea debate.
COLE PALMER lost it with Nicolas Jackson in the final stages of Chelsea's 2-0 win over Fluminense, fly-kicking the post in fury.
Chelsea had a golden chance to put the game against the Brazilian side to bed in the 80th minute, after substitute Jackson broke free inside the penalty area.
Jackson drew in a defender to leave Palmer free for an easy tap-in between the spot and six-yard box.
But the under-fire Senegalese forward chose to shoot to Palmer's shock, slamming his effort wide and into the side netting.
The England star, 23, immediately threw his hands up in frustration, after being denied a second Club World Cup goal, before stamping his foot against the post.
An irate Palmer then appeared to shout angrily at his team-mate.
NICOLAS JACKSON BREAKS SILENCE:
I don't understand why Cole Palmer was screaming at Nicolas Jackson for not passing the ball to him, Palmer would have done no different.

Jackson is a Striker and has more licence to strike when in the box than any other Chelsea player. We have seen Palmer do same pic.twitter.com/akE6cZWCp6
Another criticism for Palmer:
Cole Palmer has 1NPG in his last 30 games and nobody saying a word pic.twitter.com/vkWAFtXM0T

Some supported Jackson:
I won’t really blame Nico he is under a lot of pressure already and I know that goal would have easy the pressure on him

We all know Nico is not this selfish but dude is trying to save himself because he gat competition to deal with
Still, it’s clear that this wasn’t just a small miscommunication—it exposed deeper issues in Chelsea’s frontline chemistry.
What This Means for Chelsea:
With the Club World Cup final vs PSG just days away, manager Enzo Maresca will need to manage not just tactics, but ego and emotion. Chelsea’s attack has been inconsistent this season, and while passion on the pitch can be a good sign, division at the wrong moment can be costly.
Whether this incident lingers or is left behind could shape Chelsea’s momentum heading into one of their biggest matches of the year.

Nicholas Jackson is not serious at all. He gets red cards quite often and damaging the progress of Chelsea Football Club. It would be better for Chelsea if they can get rid of him immediately after the Club World Cup.
