Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has revealed the message that changed everything during their 3-0 victory over Nottingham Forest.
During the first half, Chelsea looked sluggish and wasteful in possession, unable to create real danger despite dominating the ball.
Then in the second half, a goal from Josh Acheampong put the Blues back in rhythm before a beautiful strike from Pedro Neto doubled the lead.

> “My message [at half-time] was, ‘Guys, off the ball, we are good off the ball and on the ball, we are not good enough,’” Maresca explained.
“We gave the ball away too much. It was a bit lazy. A lazy mistake that we can avoid that…”
In the second half, the 77th minute precisely, Reece James was handed a note which he read from before passing to Moises Caicedo, Cucurella, Acheampong and some other players.
Six minutes after reading from the note, Reece James found the back of the net to triple Chelsea's lead.
Enzo Maresca has explained what he told the players in that tactical moment:
“In the second half, we adjusted something tactical. Sloppy, not lazy. We looked sloppy in the build-up,” he added.
