Newcastle vs Chelsea LIVE Updates: Goals, Lineups & Match Highlights Today

 Chelsea secured a vital three points in the league last weekend with a 2–0 win over Everton at Stamford Bridge, before edging past Cardiff City 3–1 in the Carabao Cup quarter-final. It wasn’t a vintage display from Enzo Maresca’s side, but another victory this afternoon would give the Blues valuable momentum heading into the Christmas period.

That said, St James’ Park has been far from kind to the west Londoners in recent seasons. Chelsea have lost on each of their last four visits to Tyneside across all competitions. Maresca himself endured a difficult time here last season, suffering two defeats — an October Carabao Cup exit followed by a late-campaign league loss.

The Chelsea boss and his players will be eager to put an end to that poor run today. Kick-off is scheduled for 12:30pm (UK time), with live match coverage available throughout the afternoon on our live blog.
