 Joao Pedro has opened the scoring for Chelsea vs Atalanta and what a goal it was! 


Reece James bagged the assist for the goal. 

At first, the goal was ruled out for offside, after a check, the goal was awarded. 

How it happened:

 It was a really well worked goal, with the Blues working the ball out to Reece James, who put in a brilliant cross, and Pedro applying a poachers finish in the box.

Atalanta had made much of the early running, with Gianluca Scamacca and Marten de Roon going close for the hosts in the 19th minute.

But six minutes later Pedro rediscovered his goalscoring touch when he latched onto Reece James’ low ball into the near post to turn home.
