Chelsea return to Premier League action this afternoon as they host relegation-battling Burnley. The Blues squandered a two-goal advantage in a 2-2 draw with Leeds 11 days ago, missing the chance to capitalise on Manchester United’s slip and allowing Liverpool to close the gap to just two points.

Chelsea will be confident of bouncing back against a side sitting second from bottom and should benefit from eight days of rest following a routine FA Cup fourth-round victory over Hull City. However, Marc Cucurella remains sidelined as Liam Rosenior looks to secure a ninth win in 12 matches across all competitions since taking charge six weeks ago.

Burnley, on the other hand, staged an impressive comeback against Crystal Palace in their previous league fixture but remain ten points adrift of safety. They also endured a surprise FA Cup exit to Mansfield last weekend.
