“Not Part of My Plans” — Enzo Maresca Puts Seven Chelsea Players Up for Sale.

Image
Ahead of the coming season,  Enzo Maresca has put SEVEN Chelsea players up for SALE.  Chelsea head coach Enzo Maresca has made a firm statement ahead of the new Premier League season by putting at least six first-team players up for sale, citing that they are “not part of his plans.” This decision is part of a broader summer clear-out designed to trim Chelsea’s overloaded squad, meet Profit and Sustainability rules (PSR), and make room for new signings. The players are not considered essential to the manager’s strategy.  “ My message to the players and to the club is that I want just players that are happy to be with us. The ones that are not happy, they are free to go.”  Maresca said in a recent statement, emphasizing his desire to work only with those fully committed to his vision per The Independent . Seven players up for sale. talkSPORT confirms that at least seven big-name players are on Chelsea’s internal transfer list. These include: Raheem Sterling Be...

"He made things difficult." —PSG Captain Marquinhos singles out Chelsea star as the toughest he encountered during Club World Cup Final tie.

Image
PSG Captain Marquinhos has named his strongest opponent in the Club World Cup final tie.  After a brutal 3–0 defeat in the Club World Cup final, PSG captain Marquinhos didn’t hide behind excuses.  While most of the spotlight went to Chelsea’s Cole Palmer and Golden Glove winner Robert Sánchez, Marquinhos turned the focus inward — admitting Chelsea were simply the better team on the night and named one special Chelsea star in praise as the toughest opponent he encountered.  In the eyes of PSG captain Marquinhos, the toughest man on the pitch wasn’t necessarily the flashiest — it was João Pedro. And this wasn’t a new opinion. Marquinhos had his eye on Pedro before the first whistle blew.  Liam Delap and Marquinhos In the pre-match press conference, Marquinhos singled out Chelsea’s Brazilian forward as a serious threat to PSG’s backline. Marquinhos said via PSG’s official X account: “I already knew about the qualities of Joao Pedro, and he has had a chance to show...

"Not Caicedo, Palmer or Pedro."—Luis Enrique names one special player that hurt PSG the most in Club World Cup final tie.

Image
Chelsea’s most important player against PSG is not Cole Palmer, Moises Caicedo or Pedro Neto. Chelsea stunned the football world with a 3–0 demolition of Paris Saint-Germain in the Club World Cup Final on July 13. Post-match, PSG boss Luis Enrique offered a rare moment of candor—highlighting Chelsea’s strength and singling out a key performer. “They had a lot of energy. I believe they were actually better than we were. Cole Palmer was very good,” he admitted, acknowledging Palmer’s commanding first-half display.   Palmer’s first-half performance was electric: he scored in the 22nd minute, doubled the lead in the 30th, and then set up João Pedro’s goal just before halftime. A clinical masterclass from the young striker. However, despite Enrique’s praise, he didn’t name Palmer as the one who hurt PSG most. In our view, that honor belongs to Robert Sánchez. Nicolas Jackson Breaks Silence after Cole Palmer's furious reaction vs Fluminense sparks Chelsea debate.

Image
COLE PALMER lost it with Nicolas Jackson in the final stages of Chelsea's 2-0 win over Fluminense, fly-kicking the post in fury. Chelsea had a golden chance to put the game against the Brazilian side to bed in the 80th minute, after substitute Jackson broke free inside the penalty area. Jackson drew in a defender to leave Palmer free for an easy tap-in between the spot and six-yard box.  But the under-fire Senegalese forward chose to shoot to Palmer's shock, slamming his effort wide and into the side netting. The England star, 23, immediately threw his hands up in frustration, after being denied a second Club World Cup goal, before stamping his foot against the post. An irate Palmer then appeared to shout angrily at his team-mate. NICOLAS JACKSON BREAKS SILENCE: Still during the game, Nicolas Jackson threw his hands up in apology to Cole Palmer as he walked back onto the pitch.  Meanwhile, Palmer’s frustration reflected the growing pressure at the club—where standards ar...

Five things learned from Chelsea 2-0 win over Fluminense.

Image
Five  takeaways from Chelsea's win over Fluminense.   Chelsea are through to the final of the FIFA Club World Cup after beating Fluminense 2-0 at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey. Joao Pedro handed the Blues the lead on 18 minutes after a really positive start. The Brazilian forward curled one into the top corner from long range and chose not to celebrate out of respect for his former club Fluminense.  The 23-year-old would have been in dreamland, though, scoring his first goal for the Blues - and in some style. The Brazilians thought they had a penalty not so long after.  Trevoh Chalobah was adjudged to have handled the ball inside the box but the referee went to the pitchside monitor and overturned his initial decision - much to the relief of Chelsea. In the second-half, it was a strong start from the Blues and that told when Joao Pedro fired in his second goal of the game. Enzo Fernandez found the Brazilian on the left-hand side on a counter-attack for...
